Silverton – Cassie was born in Anaheim California, to Wallace and Twila (Couch) Wagner, one of two children. She was raised and later graduated high school from Silverton Union High School. Following, she earned her LPN degree in nursing. She had worked for the last 25 years with the Providence Benedictine Nursing Home of Mt. Angel. She loved her career, caring for others, and was a very generous and giving person. She was called an angel in nurse's disguise. She was a member of Silver Creek Fellowship.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Twila, who passed away in 1983.

Cassie is survived by, her father, Wally and step-mother, Marvel; brother and his wife, Bryce & Samuele Wagner; nephew, Shad and niece, Zoé; and foster brother, John Wellin.

Memorial service will take place at 2pm, Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Silver Creek Fellowship Church of Silverton. A luncheon and celebration of Cassie's life will follow. She will be privately laid to rest at Pioneer Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements by Unger Funeral Chapel.
