Anna "Ann" Johnston, 90, of Salem passed away on September 25, 2023 in her home.

She was born on March 31, 1933 in Hays, Kansas  to Anton Pfeifer and Anna Zimmerman.

Ann was a long-standing member of St Joseph Catholic Church.  She loved family gatherings, music and dancing.

Ann is preceded in death by husband LeeRoy Johnston and son John Johnston.

She is survived by her children:  Deborah Johnston, Julie Neal, Laura Brown, Pamela Johnston-Caudle, Patricia Johnston, Kevin Johnston; sisters Mary Gasper and Alice Weissenfels,  life companion of 25 years Floyd Baker, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be held at 9:30am with mass following at 10am, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Silverton on Friday, October 6, 2023. Arrangements by Unger Funeral Chapel in Silverton.
