Anton (Tony) Otto Singler of Veneta died Nov. 14th, at age 82. Tony was born in Cuyler New York in 1937 to John and Ida Goppert Singler.

As a young man he joined the United States Army from 1960 - 1963. In 1964 Tony married Antonietta L. Albanese in California and raised five children. Later in life Tony moved to Oregon where he and his wife owned and operated rental properties. After his wife died of cancer in 1994 he remarried Ursula Rounds.

Tony enjoyed planting trees, drinking coffee, telling stories, fixing things, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his second wife Ursula of Eugene; daughters, Annette Austin and Rose Marie Bransfield of Los Angeles Calif., Carmen Finney and Arlene Saad of San Diego Calif. ; son Christopher Singler of Eugene; Brothers, Joe Singler of Eugene, Leo Singler of Sweet Home; Sisters, Ida Terzuolo of Los Angeles, Martha Wells of Silverton, and Rita Hobbs of Gladstone.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Angel on Nov 21st. A wake will begin at 9:00 am followed by a Rosary at 10:30 am then 11:00 am mass.
