Barbara Jean Quick Moser was born May 1, 1934, in Champaign, IL, and passed away April 28, 2024, in Silverton, OR. Barbara's parents were James Leslie Quick and Florence Gleason Quick. When she was 14, she went to live with the William and Rosina Beutel family in Tremont, IL with whom she was lovingly considered a daughter, sister and aunt!

She married Raymond Louis Moser June 7, 1953, and they raised 9 children (she would say 3 1/2 dozen - 3 girls and 6 boys.)

Raymond preceded her in death in June of 2010. She is survived by her children Alan (Judy) of Peoria, IL; Vicki Moser of Salem, OR; Gary (Brenda) of New Concord, KY; Philip of Silverton, OR; Stanley of Kona, HI; Elizabeth (Ron) Jones of Silverton, OR; Melisa (Roy) Feucht of Lester, IA; 19 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren; sons  Kenneth and Paul preceded her in death as did her beloved older brother, Robert Quick.

Barbara enjoyed crocheting, riding the train cross-country several times with Ray, cats, and puzzles.

Barbara was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
Visitation will be Thursday May 2, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the Apostolic Christian Church of Silverton.
Funeral services will be Friday May 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Apostolic Christian Church of Silverton.
