Benjamin David Kelsey, 42, of Silverton, Oregon passed away suddenly on January 5, 2022.

He was born to parents Mike & Patty Kelsey, on November 24, 1979, in Olathe, Kansas. He graduated from Paola High School in 1998.

Ben met the love of his life Amanda Boehmer while they were both living and working in Florida in June of 2003. A short time later Amanda invited him to church--that was the beginning of their love story. They were married on June 10, 2005 in Paola Kansas. After their wedding they moved to Silverton Oregon where he lived until his passing.

Ben is survived by his wife Amanda, his four children Brynn, Blake, Zoey, & Paige. His father Mike Kelsey, brothers Chad & Alex, his sister Denise and their families, his grandfather Ned, his in-laws Gary & Shirley Boehmer, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Ben is preceded by his mother Patty Kelsey and his grandparents, Louis & Iva Miller, and Theresa Kelsey.

Ben worked as an Integrations Specialist at Lewis Audio & Video.

Ben was an avid lover of all sports including baseball and football. His favorite sports teams were the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and KU Jayhawks. Ben was obsessed with golf and all things programable. He loved gaming and helping coach his son's baseball teams.

Amanda and his children were his pride and joy. He adored his children and would do anything for his family. Brynn said it best when she said Ben was a funny person that could make you laugh any time of the day--even at the worst places. He was loved by everyone who met him and will be truly missed by all. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at St. Paul's Catholic Church 10:30 Rosary, 11:00 AM Mass with Interment to follow at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Silverton, Oregon.
