With deep sorrow, we announce the loss of our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Christopher Michael Gutridge, who passed away on February 16, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 35.

Chris was born March 20, 1990 (first day of spring), in Oregon City, OR and spent his early years in Woodland, CA and Medford, OR before his family returned to the Silverton, OR area. He attended Victor Point elementary, Mark Twain Middle School, and graduated from Silverton High School in 2008. In 2021, his love for golf and warm weather took him to Scottsdale, AZ, where he worked as a floor manager at RideNow Powersports in Phoenix until his passing.

He is survived by his father, Mike Gutridge of Silverton, his mother, Shevaun Gutridge of Salem, and his brother, Joe Gutridge of Yakima, WA. He will be deeply missed by his aunts, Shelli Blank of Portland, and Belinda Tiedemann of Baker City, his uncle, Pat Gutridge of Meridian, TX, his great uncle, Frank Bartruff of Silverton, and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Silverton Elks lodge, 300 High Street, Silverton, OR 97381.
