Clarence "Pete" Herr went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 77 years, June Herr, who died January 30, 2022. He is survived five children, Pam Berger (Don), Bruce Herr (Donna), Annette Garges, Cindy Toman, and Melissa Galbraith. Pete left a legacy of 12 grandchildren and many great and great, great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Pratum Cemetery, 1770 95th Avenue, NE Salem, OR 97317 at 3;00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  A gathering, with light refreshments, to follow at Emmanuel Bible Church, 8512 Sunnyview Rd NE Salem, OR 97305. All are welcome. Viewing will be at Unger Funeral Chapel, 229 Mill Street, Silverton, OR 97381 on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
