Connie Jo Bacon, age 76, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025.

Born in Hastings, Nebraska in 1949 to Opal and Darrell Lyons, Connie lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and devotion to those she loved. She worked in healthcare, where her gentle spirit and caring nature touched many lives. Later, she and her husband Jimmie were business owners, working at their store every day.

Connie had a deep love for her dogs, Hazel and Buddy, who brought her endless joy and companionship. She was also a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley—his music was the soundtrack to many cherished moments.

She is survived by her children Martin, Richard, and Dee Dee, as well as numerous grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Opal and Darrell; her brothers, Steve and Delbert; and her sister, Vonnie.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22, at Valley View Cemetery in Silverton, Oregon, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Connie's life and memory.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering strength, and the joy she brought to those around her.
