Daryl Dean Johnson of Salem, Oregon died May 6, 2023, at Salem Hospital of Heart failure.

Daryl was born January 2, 1929, to Oscar and Pauline Johnson of Silverton, Oregon and passed away May 6, 2023. He was raised in
Evans Valley and graduated from Silverton High School. He met and married his high school sweetheart, Janell Johnson whom he was married to for 74 years.

He is survived by his wife Janell of Salem, two children Darlene Bass and Donald Johnson both of Salem.  Three grandchildren, Anna Gutierrez (Jose) Michelle Haines (Jason) and Daniel Bass.  7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in feat by his parents Oscar and Pauline Johnson and his brother Eldon Ardell Johnson

Memorial services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church 303 N Church St, Silverton, Or on May 25, 2023, at 11:00am Private graveside service will be held prior to the memorial.

Daryl was an active member of Immanuel all his life. Donations can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church sound system.
