David Michael Patten, passed at the age of 81 on May 11, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Dave was born to Cecil and James Patten in Amity, OR on October 2, 1939.

Dave grew up in Silverton and has been a long time businessman there. Dave worked in plumbing, construction, cabinetry, and volunteered for the Silverton Fire Department. Dave was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved working on his farm riding his tractor.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and James, brother Richard Patten, and wife Carol Patten. Dave is survived by his children, Wayne Patten and Shannon Keudell along with his partner, Bea Shannon and her children Brett Henderson and Lynn White. He had 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
