Debra "Debby" Jean Bergmann (maiden name: Olson) passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 66. She is survived by her two sons, Steven and Thomas Bergmann. Debby was born on April 18, 1958, in Duluth, Minnesota. Her parents, Arthur "Wally" and Hazel Olson along with her older siblings; brother Galen and sister Coral moved from Duluth to Phoenix, Arizona when Debby was 6 months old. Debby graduated from Alhambra High School in 1976. Debby worked for State Farm Insurance for 35 years as a Claims Specialist, retiring in 2020 and moving from Lacey, Washington back to Salem, Oregon to be closer to family. Debby was a loving mother, sister, friend, neighbor, and grandmother. She especially cherished her grandchildren, Peter, Joseph, Natalie, Elsie, Louisa, Esther, and baby. Debby was a very giving and kind woman with a private but real faith. Her dedication to her loved ones and resilience in life to "dig a little deeper" during life's challenges is truly remarkable. Debby also enjoyed learning about various cultures and cuisine, caring for her poodle, "Chloe", and tending to her plants. Her kind spirit, infectious smile, and love will be greatly missed.

Debby's Memorial of Life Celebration will be held June 21st, 2024, from 2pm to 3:30pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Salem, Oregon
