Dolores was born to Ralph and Marie Hockett on July 31, 1929 in Raymond, Washington. Soon after, the family moved to Mt Angel, Oregon along with brother Bud where he started first grade at St Mary's.

Dolores graduated from St Mary's and Mt Angel Academy and then went to work with Father Hildebrand in the Benedictine art shop. She made many trips up and down the West Coast in the 1950's and 60's selling religious items from the shop.

In early-mid 1960's Dolores moved to Sunnyside, Washington to work at the Sunnyside Hospital for the next 25 years.

Upon retiring from Sunnyside Hospital, she moved to Gervais and became part of the Gervais Parish. Her brother Bud preceded her in death and she is survived by her brother Bob and his wife Kathleen, and over a numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

On Monday, January 10, a rosary service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gervais, OR at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. and then a luncheon at St. Louis Hall following the service.
