Donald Leroy Pullen Jr., 73 of Silverton, Oregon, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 20, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Donald was born on February 18, 1953 to Donald Leroy Pullen Sr. and Francis Moore of Sandy, Oregon. After graduating from Sandy High School in 1971 he married Linnea Diane Cansler. They had 2 children Laura and Kimberly. He worked at many jobs around Sandy and Gresham one of them being Reynolds Metal Aluminum Company in Troutdale. He later married Teresa Joanne Jasper in 1980 and established a home in Rockwood and then had 2 children Bridget and Cody.
In 1985 he started working at McGill and Son Nursery as a diesel mechanic where he continued until he moved his family to Silverton, Oregon.
As the founder and owner of Valley Shade Tree, Donald poured passion and dedication as he ran this family business from 1990 until he retired in 2024.
Donald was a provider for his family and those around him with such a generous heart. His family meant more than anything to him. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald and mother Francis. He is survived by his wife Teresa, siblings Linda Blinkmann, Pamela Maio, Craig Pullen, Terri Boothby and children Laura Johnson, Kim Unger (Peter), Bridget Brueckner (Travis), Cody Pullen (Julie) and 7 grand-children.
Don was an avid fisherman for many years, he loved everything football, NASCAR, golfing and camping. He also enjoyed all the adventures with his family traveling and cruising.
A Celebration of Life for Donald Leroy Pullen Jr. will be held on Monday May 4, 2026 from 10:30-12:30 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Silverton, Oregon. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support during this difficult time. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Silverton Area Community Aid (SACA) or the Silverton Fire Department
