Born on February 7, 1940, Passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, in Silverton, OR

Don will be joining his son Chad; his father and mother Joe and Henrietta Wavra; his sister Jeanette (Mapes); his brothers George and Tim. He will be leaving behind his wife Julie of 62 years; his son Shane (Nanae) and his lovable granddaughter Yayoi. Also leaving behind are his brothers Charles, Fred, Frank and Randy.

A mass will be held at 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Angel, OR on 4/22/2025 with a rosary at 10:30am. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Angel immediately after the mass. There will be a luncheon at the Parish Center after the burial.
