Edna Mary (Jensen) Thomas was born in Rushville, Nebraska on June 19 ^th , 1949 to Howard and Elizabeth Jensen and passed away in Salem, OR on January 28 ^th , 2019

Her siblings include Dorothy Jensen, John Jensen, Bev Huber, twin brother Everett Jensen, Jerold Jensen, Betty Scharer and Judy Jensen. There are several nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Silverton High School in Silverton, OR. Later on she later  got married and had 3 kids of whom are Michelle Ward Simmons, Jeff Ward and Jennifer Ward Leseman.

Edna started her career as a cosmetologist after attended beauty school in Salem, OR.  She ultimately became a CNA in Spokane, WA and retired from that profession.

In her retirement, Edna loved to read and spend time with friends and family, ESPECIALLY her grandkids/grandbabies. Her grandkids are Trevor, James, Damon, Dylan, Jacob, Makenna, and many others who she loved as her own.

Her greatest joy in life was her great grandbabies, Hunter, Zander, Rae, Angell, Connie, Leilani, Kruze, Declan, Lucas, and More…She was looking forward to a new great-grandbaby, who is expected in July 2019.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Steve.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
