Obituary

Felice L. Moreno passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Salem Hospital due to complications of Covid Pneumonia. On November 9, 1966, Catarino and Felisa Moreno welcomed twin sons Felice and Felipe in Artesia, New Mexico. He was 10 of 12 children. When the boys were toddlers the family decided to move to the Willamette Valley and settle in Mount Angel Oregon. The family worked on the many local farms. Felice graduated from John F Kennedy High School in 1985. He loved playing football and track. You could also find him and his brother in the weight room setting records! He worked for RSG Forest Products for over twenty years before becoming disabled due to complications from diabetes. In May, 1990, he married Kimberley Unrein-Moreno. They purchased the family house in Mount Angel. They had three sons; Alexander, Samuel, and Daniel. They later divorced in 2011. Felice's first love was his boys and the close second was the OSU Beavers and his family. He was the life of the party. He always made you laugh. He loved to fish and go camping with his boys and family. He also coached the boys in little league. He was always there to support his boys when they played sports. Felice is preceded in death by his mother, Felisa Moreno, his brother Catarino Jr, his sister Oralia Soto, his son Alexander Moreno, his Great-niece Yesenia Hernandez, his niece MacKenzie Moreno, his nephew Matthew Unrein. He is survived by his father Catarino Sr (Adelida ), sons, Samuel Alexander Moreno and Daniel Christopher Moreno. His siblings:  Jesus "Susie" (Francisco) Alcaraz, David (Estella) Moreno, Irma (Adelo) Rodriguez, Eva (Jose) Perez, Cruz Dustin Martinez Esther Moreno, Felipe (Lupe) Moreno, and Esteven Moreno; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mount Angel, Oregon.
