Florence Agan passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 98 years at Davenport Place in Silverton, Oregon.

She was born in Silverton on December 17, 1926. She met her husband, Harold Agan in the 5th grade and was together through most of High School. Harold and Florence were married July 18, 1947 and were married for 72 years. They were also very dedicated to the ministry and incorporated the depth of love for Jehovah into their children.

Florence raised her two kids, training them how to cool, take care of the house and to also take care of the yardwork. Around 1966 she worked in the Silverton Cannery for several years. She then acquired a position at the Oregon State Hospital as a kitchen prep worker, where she retired thereafter at the age of 62.

Florence and Harold, more time than not, were working at their house on Lardon Road, putting in a garden, planting fruit trees and enjoying the back yard. There were times that they did go camping and fishing, but their main pleasure was just sitting in their back yard.

Florence loved her home there. She did not want to leave it but because of her Dementia, she was moved to Devenport Place in Silverton until her death. She was very well cared for there and became friends with the Administration and Staff. She held to her belief of being a Jehovah's Witness until death letting those in Davenport Place know that she was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving Florence are her two children, Sandra McClaughry (Bob) and Gary Agan (Mary).
Florence also has two grandchildren, Andrea Armer (Micah) and Todd McClaughry (Nicole) along with six great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Harold Agan, her parents Grover and Blanche Brown, her seven siblings, Earl Brown, Daryl Brown, Edith (Sis) Fetsch, Marjorie Campbell, Bessy Brown and Nellie (Light) Torgeson.

She will be truly missed by those still living. We look forward to the day when those in the grave will be welcomed back to a new earth.
