Jeffrey Paul
Birch
Oct 29, 1957 — Apr 9, 2026
Jeffrey Paul Birch, born October 29, 1957, in Oregon City, Oregon, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on April 9, 2026, in Portland, Oregon. He was raised in Silverton, Oregon, where he graduated and went on to build the life and family he cherished
deeply. It was in Silverton that Jeff met the love of his life, Karen, while working at her father's body shop. Their connection grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married for 46 years. Together, they shared a life filled with love, hard work, adventure, and often enjoyed
Corvette trips, making memories on the open road. Jeff spent his career working in the truck industry where he was respected for his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication. He took pride in his work and the life it helped him create for his family. Golf was one of Jeff's greatest passions. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the golf course with his children and grandchildren, sharing laughs and stories. He loved
teaching, encouraging, and simply being surrounded by those he loved most. Jeff was also one of his family's biggest supporters. He took great pride in cheering on his children and grandchildren in all of their achievements and activities. Whether it was from the sidelines or stands, he was always the first one there to encourage the people he loved. Beyond his family, Jeff was known for quietly helping others and giving back to the
community whenever he could. He touched the lives of many people through his kindness and generosity. His presence and support meant so much to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his son, Jeremy (Kassie) Birch, his daughter, Lindsey (David) Espe, and his five beloved grandchildren, Johnny Birch, Bryant Birch, Kambrea Birch, Adeline Whitney (Espe),
and Beau Espe. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers. Jeffrey Paul Birch will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of his hobbies, and his overwhelming devotion to his family. His legacy will live on through those who loved him, and the memories that will be cherished forever. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 27, 2026 from 1-4 pm at 18109 Hazelnut Ridge Rd NE, Silverton, OR 97381. All are welcome.
