Johna Bernice (Girt) Jensen was born May 29, 1937 to Donald Girt and Bernice (Perkins) Girt in Rainier, Oregon.

She was married for 49 years to Denton Jensen. They lived in Silverton, Oregon where Johna raised their children. She passed peacefully August 2, 2019 at 6 pm surrounded by her family. Johna was only 5'5" but she was fierce. She loved feeding the neighborhood cats, Science fiction shows, John Wayne, crocheting, shopping, jewelry and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Marianne Carver, (Larry - Deceased), Dale Amstutz, Kathy Kim (Dean), Deanna Gilbert (Scott), Denton Jensen Jr., Donald Jensen (Cathy). She has twenty grandkids: Jennifer Carver, Larry Carver, William Carver (Sabrina), Christopher Carver, Stephanie Carver, Curtis Carver, Sadie Amstutz-Vetter(Jeremy), Dale Amstutz, Dennis Dunn, Hayden Amstutz, Trisha Bergin (Rick), Matt Kim (Katie), Jacquie Radke (Will), Alexander Gilbert (Latosha), Jonathan Gilbert, Jillian Gilbert, Ashley Koster (Michael), Kelsey Cookingham (Paul), Kyle Jensen and Taylor Jensen. She has twenty-two great-grandkids: Raven Gould, Asia Robinson (Dan), Tyra Gould, Alyssa Reeves, Hailey Reeves, Tyler Carver, Bailey Jarnagin, Jordan Jarnagin, Elijah Carver, Sullivan Vetter, Aiden Tippet, Elijah Bergin, Jillian Bergin, Chloe Kim, baby Kim (due in August) Emma Radke, Wyatt Radke, Owen Gilbert, Ezekiel Gilbert, Avery Gilbert, Cora Gilbert, Wren Koster. She has one great-great on the way; baby Robinson (due in August). She leaves behind a sister, Yvonne McNeil and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded her in death, her parents, her sister, Joann Hudson, husband, Denton Jensen Sr., two sons, Denton Jensen Jr, Dale Amstutz and granddaughter, Alyssa Reeves.

She believed in heaven and now is resting in God's arms or John Wayne's. Until we meet again. Love you mom.
