Kathleen “Judy” Mae Scott was born on May 7, 1936, in Portland, OR to Roland and Lela Gottsacker.

Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family above all else. She loved spending time with family and friends, whether at her Friday happy hours, lively hairdressing gatherings, or, most famously, her annual Oktoberfest parties. Her kindness, warmth, and love will be deeply missed and always remembered. Kathleen is survived by her children: Janet Donohue, Robert Scott, and Patty (Jason) Morgan, daughter in law Vicki Scott and her 8 grandchildren: Kyle, Corey, Matthew, Katelyn, Marissa, Bridget, Briar, and Brody; and was known as Gam Gam by her 14 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Patty) Gottsacker and her sister-in-laws, Betty Gottsacker and Peggy Gottsacker. She cherished her relationships with her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Scott; her son, Thomas Scott; her son-in-law, Michael Donohue; her grandson, Chad Donohue; her parents, Roland and Lela Gottsacker; her sisters, Lorraine, Lavern, Lovell, and Darlene; and her brothers, Delbert and Melvin. Kathleen leaves behind a family that is better because of her, countless memories filled with laughter and love, and traditions that will continue long after her passing. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will remain with her family forever.

A funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mount Angel on Monday, August 31st at 11am. The Rosary will be held prior at 10:30am. Kathleen’s viewing will be held at Unger Funeral Chapel, Mount Angel from 2-4pm on Saturday, August 29th.
