Lanny M. Webb

Lanny was born March 12, 1943 in Salem, Oregon. Lanny began his fireman career as a Pro-bie at the age of 31 years. During his career, he taught Pro-bie fire students at Chemeketa Community College. He accomplished retiring as Captain for the Salem Fire Department.

Lanny enjoyed hunting, gold mining, hiking, and camping with family. He also enjoyed the game of golf with family and friends.

Lanny loved his Lord Jesus Christ most of ALL!

He is survived by his wife Kay Lichty Webb of 64 years; their children: Brian (Renee) Webb, Bruce (Heidi) Webb and Amy Webb (Patrick) Baker; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, J. Wesley Webb and M. Eska Webb; brother, Roy Webb and great-granddaughter, Coraline Sanders.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 16th, 2026, from 2pm-4pm with a Funeral Service on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 at Noon both services taking place at Unger Funeral Chapel, 229 Mill St. Silverton, Oregon 97381. Followed by a graveside at 1:30pm at Pratum Cemetery in Pratum, Oregon.
