Obituary

Lavonne "Bonnie" Lee (Stoller) Goode. On September 21, 1934, Bonnie was born to Charlie and Lola (Merwin) Stoller in Newberg , Oregon. With family around her, Bonnie went to be with Jesus on July 4, 2026 at the home she and her husband Wayne built on the family farm in the Silverton Hills.

Bonnie attended Catholic Boarding School in Mt Angel and graduated from Salem High School. She married Wayne Goode on June 6, 1952.

Bonnie worked alongside Wayne on the farm, raising grass seed and berries. She also drove school bus for Silverton School District for 26 years. Bonnie was an active and lifetime member of the Salem First Free Methodist Church.

Bonnie's personal relationship with Jesus was very important to her. She mirrored the love of Christ in all she did. Bonnie loved her flower and vegetable garden as well as serving others with grace and love.

She is survived by her children Judy (Norm) DeShon, Ken (Kandie) Goode, Chuck (Sheila) Goode and Laurie Goode Hyndman. 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 1:00p.m. at the Salem First Free Methodist Church, 4455 Silverton Rd NE, Salem OR.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salem First Free Methodist Church designated for Missions.
