We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Linda Harmsen Gesler, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sibling, aunt, cousin and friend. She peacefully departed this life on March 17th, 2024, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on June 13th, 1947 to John and Joan Harmsen and grew up in Lake Wilson, Minnesota. As the eldest of five children, Linda was an inspiration to her younger siblings and helped ensure it was a close and loving family.

In 1982 Linda married the love of her life, Timothy Gesler, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Ben and Alex. Family was always her top priority and she instilled her values of compassion, integrity, and forgiveness in all the people she loved.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held on April 6th, 2024, at Silverton United Methodist Church in Silverton, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Linda's honor.

Rest in peace, dear Linda. You will be forever loved and dearly missed.
