Marie Helen (Magee) Burch, 84 of Canby, Oregon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday November 8, 2025. Born in Houston, Texas she graduated from Palestine High School in 1959. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, her parents William Dolphus Magee, Grace Magee Seagler, her sister Sue Fraim (William), and brothers Jim Magee (Dorothy) and George Magee (Lola).  She is also survived by her daughters Angela Scanlan (Phil), Lisa Burch-Newton (Joe), and son Jim Burch (Terri). She enjoyed a close relationship with all her grandchildren, Amanda Dawson (David), Aaron Burch (Kiara), Colby Newton, Emily Shirley (Robbie), Ashley Ruggles (Dominic), and Ryan Scanlan; great grandchildren, Riley Shirley, Jaimie Burch, Korra Burch, Zoe Shirley, and Jack Dawson.  Marie is also survived by two brothers Bud Magee (Bobbie) and Bill Magee (Becky) of Texas and several nieces and nephews who were all very special to her.

Marie was a loving and forgiving mother, Mammaw, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and was at her best sharing stories, supporting others, and staying in touch with many friends and family throughout her life.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church located at 498 NW 9th Ave. Canby, OR with a Rosary at 10:30am Friday, November 14th, 2025 and Mass at 11am.  A private family burial will follow on Monday at Mt. Angel where she will be laid to rest by her loving husband, Jim Burch.
