Mona L. Lowery passed away in her home in Monmouth, Oregon, on May 11, 2025, at the age of 71.  She was born on April 14, 1954, in Taft, Ca, & graduated from Taft High School in 1972.  She lived in Idaho before moving to McMinnville, Oregon, where she married Randy Lowery in 2003.  They later moved to Monmouth while Mona worked form Oregon State.  She retired from her job with the State in December 2020 & then was able to spend her time pursuing her passion for gardening.  She has great interest & ability in interior design as well, and enjoyed refinishing furniture, making her home a haven of peace & beauty.  She had a quick sense of humor, which she shared with close friends and family.  Mona is survived by her husband Randy Lowery, her 2 sons Travis Miller and Daryl Miller, and her siblings Gail Jones and David Sagaser, who will all greatly miss her.  Her early remains will rest in a private cemetery in Silverton, Oregon.
