Paul was born in Fleming, Colorado, October7, 1931 to Albert & Anna (Berg) Dieker and passed away at his residence in Silverton, Oregon December 12, 2022. He was 91 years of age.

The family moved to Oregon in 1938, the Mt. Angel area. He graduated from Mt. Angel Prep in 1950. He was on active in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, then transferred to the Army reserve to complete his obligation.

In June of 1956, he married Claudette Kinder, and they were married for 66 years.

Paul worked for IBM for 35 years, enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and golf.

He was a Knights of Columbus member and 4 ^th degree and started the council on Knights of Columbus on Whidbey Island, (Clinton area).

Survivors include Claudette, children, David, Theresa.  5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. brothers and sister, Ralph, Lenard, Ruth Ann.  He is preceded in death by sons Brian, Douglas, daughter Clair, brothers Edwin, Harold, sisters Helen, Dorothy, Freancist and Sister Albert, OSB>

Recitation of the Rosary will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Silverton with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow the mass. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Angel.
