Phyllis Irene Schneider, 89, passed away on April 2, 2021, at her residence in Mt. Angel.

She was born on May 7, 1931, to John and Mary (Grazen) Dolinsky in Hopmere, Oregon; she was one of five children. Phyllis was raised in the Salem area and graduated from Columbia Academy in 1950.

Phyllis married Victor Henry Schneider on February 29 1952. They had three children. While they raised their children, Phyllis also worked on the family farm. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, family, Travel (when time permitted), singing, piano, sewing and visiting friends.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Victor, daughter Donadee, and brother Rudy.

She is survived by her children: Victor (Irma) Schneider, David Schneider, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren thirteen great-grandchildren, and her three sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, April 9, 2021, at Valley View Cemetery in Silverton.
