Richard Eudell Lukens, born on December 14, 1962, in Orlando Florida to William "Bill" and Martha "Ann" Lukens, passed away at age 62 on January 31, 2025, in Silverton, Oregon. Raised in Oregon, Richard attended Sandy High School, and Central High School in Monmouth, Oregon.

After High School Richard Served in the US Army in Germany, and Ft. Hood Texas as an M1 Tank Mechanic. Richard worked in the building maintenance and property management for most of his working career. Richard was an avid golfer, and volunteered for Veterans assistance programs, and meals on wheels.

Richard was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Michelle A. (Reed) Duggin (Dan), Brothers, William E. Lukens "Will" (Jill), and Joseph M. Lukens "Joe" (Wendy). He leaves behind his extended family: Nephews; Adam Reed, Nate Lukens, Jake Lukens, Nieces; Angela Strathman, Alicia Jordan, Coutrney Eggers, Brynn Lukens. Uncles; Roy Lukens, Harold Burnett, Aunts; Bonnie Alexander, Cate Luyet, and numerous cousins. Richard is also survived by his beloved dog, Oreo.

Services will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, a date to be determined.
