Father, grandfather (Papa), great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Robert Trygve Anderson Sr., went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2023.

Robert, the youngest of four children, was born to Charles "Warren" and Helen Anderson on October 4th, 1957, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Lynwood High School in California and later graduated from IITR Truck School. Robert married Peggy Redford on July 4th, 1982. They were married for 3 years and had their son Robert Jr. in 1984. In 1986, Robert married Elaine Douthit and gained two more children. Robert and Elaine were married for 35 years. Robert spent the majority of his career as a truck driver and for a while managed a local furniture deliver operation in Oregon.

Robert loved camping and RVing, and enjoyed his time as a campground host. He also loved to fish. Robert was a talented woodworker and enjoyed building furniture and toys.

Robert is survived by his brothers Warren "Fred" (Ann) Anderson, and Charles "William" (Dina) Anderson; his children Jonathan (Katie) Edmonds of Silverton, Oregon, Jennifer (Emile) Draper of Molalla, Oregon, and Rob Jr. (Laura) Anderson of Anchor Point, Alaska; as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles "Warren" and Helen, sister Donna, and wife of 35 years, Elaine.

There will be a private service at Miller Cemetery where Robert will be laid to rest alongside his family.
