Robert A Franz was born May 31, 1933.  Passed away October 29, 2021

Bob was the youngest of three siblings.  He was born to Henry and Helen Franz in Kansas City, MO.  He shares is birthday with his father.  The family moved to Oregon when he was two years old.

A couple of years after his high school graduation he joined the US Navy and proudly served four years for his country.

Bob and his brother learned the trade of meat cutting from his father and continued with that trade until his retirement.  The past 30 working years was with Roth's IGA.  Upon his retirement, he did the things he loved the most; being with family, friends, traveling, camping, fishing and golf.  Bob had a lot of fun driving his 1972 Chevy pickup, which he kept shinny & clean, getting waves from passers by.

His marriage to Carol Werner took place October 5, 1958 and they spent 63 years together.  Carol along with their daughter were by his bedside at the time of passing.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack.  Survived by his wife Carol, daughter Nadine (Jeff) Sawyer, granddaughters Camille & Chantel, 3 great grandchildren, Tucker, Kylee and Wyatt, sister Betty (Don) Donovan.

Private graveside services will be held.  Those wishing to stop by to visit the family can do so at the Franz home on Wednesday November 3rd between 2-4pm.
