Ronald Marvin Simonson. 79 of Salem Oregon passed away on August 14, 2023, at (hospital).

Ronald worked as an elementary school teacher and guidance counselor in Oregon, Minnesota and Iowa and also coached youth softball and basketball. Ronald was an avid sports fan and a meticulous gardener who greatly enjoyed nature and scenic road trips throughout the western United States.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by his three children and two sisters.

Services for Ronald will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11 am at Unger Funeral Chapel, 229 Mill Street Silverton, OR 97381.
