Ronna Mary
Vaughan
Dec 7, 1941 — May 28, 2026
Silverton
Ronna Mary Vaughan, 84, passed away peacefully at Davenport Place in Silverton, Oregon. Though she will be deeply missed by her family and friends, we know she is at home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ronna was born on Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941, in Laramie, Wyoming to Rolland and Mary Rutledge. Ronna moved to Carson City, Nevada to be with and eventually marry Jerry Vaughan. Ronna and Jerry had two sons, Robert (Bob) Vaughan and William (Bill) Vaughan in 1970 and 1972. They moved from Carson City to Tonasket, Washington in 1980. They again moved in 1984 to their final home of Silverton, Oregon. Ronna was the proud grandparent to six grandchildren: Wade Vaughan and Riley Newton, Cody Vaughan, Emily Vaughan, and Owen Vaughan. She was a wonderful grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and supporting each of them in all of their endeavors.
In addition to the love she had for her grandchildren, Ronna spent many of her later years quilting and spending time with friends in Silverton. She attended the First Christian Church in Silverton for 40+ years and served the church as their bookkeeper for many years.
Ronna was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Mary Rutledge, her husband Jerry Vaughan, and her son Bob Vaughan.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the sanctuary of Silverton First Christian Church. A reception will follow in the multipurpose room.
