Roy "Dan" Babcock

Woodburn - Roy "Dan" Babcock passed away in Woodburn Oregon on 27 May 2022 at the age of 85.

Danny, born in Butte, Montana, was a long-time resident of Silverton. He was a very proud Air Force Veteran, and his greatest joy was family.

Danny loved all things "western", riding horses when younger, prospecting for gold, metal detecting, and wildlife. He always had a joke on his lips and tried to make people smile.

He is survived by his five children Michael Manion, Donald Manion, Kathleen Meng, Deanna McClung, and Roy Dan (Scooter) Babcock Jr.

Danny wished to have his ashes spread at a high mountain stream in Montana called Fish Creek, at which time there will be a family gathering, details to be determined.
