Roy passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 30 ^th , 2022. Roy was born and raised in the City of San Francisco, CA. A Navy Veteran, after serving, he remained living and working in the Bay Area of California. He retired in 2017 to Silverton, OR after having worked for 15 years in Corrections for the County of San Mateo, CA.

He is survived by his wife Vanessa, son Chris; mother, Hildelisa Galleguillos, Silverton, OR; father Ruben Sr. Galleguillos, Lebanon, PA; sisters Cherie Ritz (Joe), Silverton, OR; Diana Lopez (Manuel), Keizer, OR; brothers Eddy Galleguillos (Tina), Pacifica, CA; Ruben Galleguillos (Dianna), and Stanley Galleguillos, both from Lebanon, PA; nieces, Lulu, Janelle, Vanessa, Gabriella, Paris, Camilla; nephews, Sevy, Tristan, and Logan; great nieces, Khaleesi, Anayah, and Afiyah;  great nephew, Angelo. He is preceded in death by his sister Betty Galleguillos, Keizer, OR.

Roy loved spending time at home with his family and his dog, Minnie. He was a huge fan of Ed Roth's Rat Fink character and the Clay Smith bird mascot. He was a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants. Some of Roy's favorite enjoyments were browsing at the local antique shops, frequenting local cafes, dining out, refurbishing bicycles, tinkering in his garage, displaying his collections of toy model cars, tiki masks, and rocks. He loved watching the many home renovation shows, the old westerns from the '50's, the 50's TV sitcoms, the Turner Classic movies, and a good baseball game.

Roy will be forever missed by his family and those who knew him.
