Timothy Joseph Wavra, age 75, passed away Thursday July 14 at home.

Tim was born October 8, 1946 in Silverton, OR to Joseph and Henrietta Ebner Wavra.

Time was raised on the family farm in Mt. Angel, OR along with one sister and six brothers.

He graduated from Mt. Angel Preparatory in 1964 and met his wife JoAnne (Jodi) Harrison, and they married on July 5, 1965 at St. Josephs Catholic Church.

Tim retired from the Oregon National Guard on May 31, 1995. He was an avid golfer and member of the Evergreen golf club and St. Mary's Catholic church. Tim was a loving, caring, and generous man.

Tim is survived by his wife Jodi, daughter Julie Petersen (Lance), and his only grandson Nicholas Benjamin Petersen. His sister Jeanette Mapes, and brother George preceded him in death. Surviving sibling's Don (Julie), Chuck (Jane), Fred (Charlene), Frank (Darlene), Randy (Rosie) and many nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 6:00 PM at Unger Funeral Chapel ~ Silverton, Oregon. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 11:00 AM at Calvary Cemetery ~ Mt. Angel, Oregon. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Benedictine Sisters, Mt. Angel, OR.
