Shirley Ann Kuenzi, 84, of Salem, passed away at home October 10, 2021.

Shirley was born September 29, 1937 in Fairbury, Illinois, the oldest child of Edward and Helen Schaffer Walter. She married Glen Kuenzi on May 28, 1961 in Forrest, Illinois.

Surviving is her husband, Glen; her children, Keith (Sharon) Kuenzi, Kay (Phil) Teubel, Glenda Kuenzi, Paula (Gary) Kaeb, David (Molly) Kuenzi, Douglas (Kiel'An) Kuenzi, Peter (Wendy) Kuenzi, Jonathan (Lisa) Kuenzi, Matthew (Taleatha) Kuenzi; 63 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, James, Keith (Jackie), Harvey (Margaret), Peter (LaRae), Duane (Marlene), Donald (Sue) of Illinois and Charles (Karen) of Silverton; sisters Barbara (James) Kuenzi of Silverton, Marilyn Kuenzi of Salem, Rosetta (Walt) Edelman, Nancy (John) Vitzthum, Cynthia (Warren) Edelman of Illinois.Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one grandchild, one great grandchild, one sister-in-law, Juanita Walter and one brother-in-law, Lynn Kuenzi.

Her funeral will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Christian Apostolic Church, Salem.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Unger Funeral Chapel, Silverton.

Interment will be in Bethany Pioneer Cemetery in Silverton.

Shirley was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church in Salem. Her greatest joy was serving her Lord, caring for her family and showing love to all.
