Violet E. Kuenzi, 96, passed away on January 16, 2022, in Salem, Oregon.

Violet was born on April 2, 1925, to Rudolph and Minnie (Gehring) Stadeli in Silverton, Oregon. She was the oldest of 5 children, and the only daughter.

Violet married Clifford Kuenzi in 1947 and they had 6 children. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, canning, and baking. After years of being a devoted wife and mother, Violet started a job at retail stores providing samples. She enjoyed meeting new people at the stores while working. Violet was very kindhearted and always cared for others.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Kuenzi, her son, Kenneth Kuenzi and her son-in-law, Wayne Zurbrugg.

Violet is survived by her son, Stuart (Sally) Kuenzi, daughters, Charlotte Zurbrugg, Cheryl (Leonard) Schurter, Kathy (Mike) Maul and Jeannette (Lee) Schurter; 43 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, 6pm-8pm at the Apostolic Christian Church, 4700 Howell Prairie Rd NE, Silverton, OR 97381. Funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10am with graveside service to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. All are welcome to join Violet's family.
